Jennifer Lopez: “We have a wonderful culture to offer, we need to share it with the world”

Jennifer Lopez is back on screen in What to Expect when you are expecting for the first time since 2010’s The Back-up Plan. Lopez is simply one star in the superstar cast that includes onscreen expectant moms Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Banks. Lopez talks to Amigos del Español about the experience of making the movie and how the mother of young twins found it hit especially close to home. A proud Latina of her Spanish roots the actress is fluent in Spanish and wants to educate her kids in both languages, English and Spanish. Charlize Theron: “I’m like every other woman”

Charlize Theron is the “it” actress of the moment. This summer comes to the big screen with two movies Prometheus and Snow White and the Hunter where she plays the devil queen who wants to kill Snow White. At 35, Theron confess that her Spanish is very limited, in fact she only knows the dirty words of our language, she learned those words in the set of the movie The Burning Plan that she shot two years ago with the Mexican director Guillermo Arriaga.

Anne Hathaway: "I do have very good friends from Spain who introduced me to the culture and the soccer passion. I watch every match with them. My Spanish words are not the ones you want to recite" (laughs).

Anne Hathaway has proved herself in many ways, she’s got an Oscar, a huge success in the box office with a few blockbusters, critically acclaimed movies, a comedy classic in The Devil Wears Prada and also she is a passionate of the Spanish Culture. When we sat for the interview in a hotel of New York she says how much she enjoyed her last trip on vacation to Spain, to Ibiza just a few weeks back. With very few good movies for women and a fierce competition for them Hathaway recognizes how hard she has to fight for her place in Hollywood.
