Welcome to the New Spanish Books website, a guide to current Spanish titles completed with reviews of selected titles and up to date information about the Spanish publishing scene, translation grants, Spanish literary prizes, recent translations, news and much more. New Spanish Books is a joint project of the Spanish Publishers' Association (FGEE) and the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX). New Spanish Books will be updated regularly and if you would like to receive the spring and autumn issues of our newsletter, packed with useful information on Spanish books and the new selection of Spanish titles available.

The Spanish Culture Department is offering grants to promote the reading and the Spanish books through tranand foreign language edition. In order to obtain the grant there are many requirements that they must be fulfilled

Three Percent launched in the summer of 2007 with the lofty goal of becoming a destination for readers, editors, and translators interested in finding out about modern and contemporary international literature. Three Percent was named after the oft-cited statistic (first established by Bowker) that only 3% of books published in the U.S. are translations.
