The best published books in the year prior to the call will be awarded in the following genres: Art Books, Bibliophile Books, Facsimile Books, Children and Young Adult Books and General and Popular Works.

The call for entries for World Book Capital 2025 are now open

Applications to apply for World Book Capital 2025 must be sent through the official website and addressed to the office of the secretary at UNESCO in English or French. The deadline is Sunday, April 16th, 2023.
