With more than 56,000 copies sold in ten hours in Argentina, and 35,000 in Mexico, “Nada que perder,” the first part of Brazilian religious leader Edir Macedo's biography, is breaking all kind of records, reports R7 Noticias. It is the best selling book in Brazil since it went on sale 11 weeks ago. Next Saturday it goes on sale in the US with a goal of selling 65,000 copies that day.

The publisher made history in America and sold in just one day, Saturday February 16th, thousands of copies of “Nada que perder”, the first part of Brazilian religious leader Edir Macedo's biography. This historic event was held at McNally Jackson, New York, where co-author Douglas Tavolaro, and bishops Romualdo Panceiro and Wilson Santos signed copies.

The Federación de Gremios de Editores de España published the numbers of the publishing industry in 2012, compiled by Agencia del ISBN. Fiction and children and youth’s books are 18 and 11 percent of the total. Digital books are 22 percent and translations 19.8 percent.
