Born in Mexico City in 1965.
Rivas studied law and journalism and has worked in radio, television and print journalism.
She earned a degree in 19up>th century Mexican literature and a Master’s degree in modern arts and letters.
Rivas is co-author of three books: Las mujeres de la torre (1996; translated into English in 1997), Veneno que fascina and Sucedió en un barrio.
La hora sin diosas is her first novel.
