The University of Miami Invites You To A Conversation With Spanish Writer Jorge (Jordi) Carrión

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures of the University of Miami invites you to a conversation with Spanish Author (Barcelona 1976) Jorge Carrión.

The writer will be talking in Spanish with the audience  about Las Huellas, his tetralogy  of allegorical novels on contemporary Spain wich includes Los Muertos, Los Huérfanos, Los Turistas and Los difuntos, illustrated by Celsius Pictor. His works have been translated into 10 languages.

Jorge (Jordi) Carrión was born in Tarragona in 1976. He holds a PhD in Humanities from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, where he teaches contemporary literature, creative writing and culturla journalism.

Tuesday, September 11 from 12:15 until 1:45 pm at Dooley Memorial Building, Room #108. He will also be in Books&Books on Tuesday, September 11th, 6:30 pm, 265 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables, FL.
