Synopsis
Abril de 1942, la guerra ha dado ya un giro y parece poco probable que la Alemania nazi pueda alzarse como vencedora. Sesenta años más tarde el protagonista de la novela, un escritor argentino, recibe en una caja los últimos documentos de su padre, recién fallecido, entre los que se incluye La novela verdadera… Desde ese instante los acontecimientos se desbordan y nuestro protagonista se ve envuelto en la niebla de la historia y enfrentado a poderosas fuerzas oscuras.
In April of 1942, the war had taken a turn for the worst, and it seemed unlikely that Nazi Germany would rise victorious. In an office of Mauthausen concentration camp, five men of the Nazi-fascist army met: a Croatian officer, a Spaniard, an Italian officer, a Canadian, and an SS official, with a sixth man as a prisoner—a Jewish banker. Faced with the possibility of an adverse ending to the war, they decided to form a secret society with the goal of seizing the property and assets of the rich inmates. Sixty years later, the protagonist of the novel, an Argentinean writer, receives a box from his father who had recently passed away. In it, he finds this novel of the truth. From this moment, the reader becomes engulfed in the history of these dark times as they unveil a hidden history.
