Synopsis
Five stories comprise this collection that presents painful images that are still worth experiencing. In the titular tale, Lautaro Hans is a little boy who is obsessed with a drawing of a polar bear that his sister made. Lautaro himself cannot draw because his hands are paralyzed, but in the brief moments during which his family members take photographs of him, Lautaro is able to move his hands. The other stories are "Acerca del verde claro," "Dibujos: Diario de viaje," "¡Pieles rojas!," and "Frío helado sobre la osa mayor." From beginning to end, this is a journey to the cold and to death, an ode to time and the need to hold on to it.
