All I wanted this Christmas was to be in New York and kiss a good-looking guy on Christmas Eve, or at least finish the romance novel I’m writing. What was not on my wish list was inheriting the Polaris, my family’s bed & breakfast, after it got destroyed in a fire. And least of all, share it with Jack Halliday, my ex-boyfriend, now a fireman and official handyman at Sunnyside, the charming little town in California where I vowed never to return.
Jack is determined to finish renovating the Polaris, reopen before Christmas, and save the holiday spirit. And, dear Santa, all I want is to sell it, get rid of the memories, and lose sight of the man who broke my heart.
