Synopsis
This novel places us in the future world of Land in Blue (Rhapsody). There, a mature woman lives with Flor Azul, a drone through which she holds conversations with her friend Bibi, who is actually the voice of an actress. The woman, lonely and forgetful, lives separated from her daughters, Selva and Tina, each one protected and watched over by another drone. The novel is a futuristic pamphlet, a cyborg symphony, a cry of protest, a choreography of desolation, a vanitas more modern than postmodern, and, above all, a neo-romantic novel of drones in love with women whom they care for and spy on.
Esta novela nos sitúa en el mundo futuro de Land in Blue (Rapsodia). Allí una mujer madura vive con Flor Azul, un dron a través del que mantiene conversaciones con su amiga Bibi, que en realidad es la voz de una actriz. La mujer, solitaria y desmemoriada, vive separada de sus hijas, Selva y Tina, protegidas y vigiladas cada una por otro dron. La mujer habita un mundo regido por lo virtual. Un mundo gobernado por la explotación, la represión policial y el miedo a la enfermedad y la muerte, en el que los tanatopractores preservan los cadáveres de la podredumbre. La banda sonora de esta ciudad-país-mundo es la de las persianas metálicas que bajan de golpe.
