In the 1970s, Caroline, a PhD student, investigates the implications of World War II on Swiss international schools. Her tenacity will lead her to meet Mrs. Geiger, a former student of the Santa Ursula female boarding school. But Mrs. Geiger has a lot to hide and Caroline will have to put together the pieces of the puzzle as she discovers the secrets, passions, friendships, and details that portrayed the months prior to the closing of that boarding school, which had been built in the middle of a forest.
