Silvia Ferrasse

Criminologist and writer, Silvia Ferrasse was born in Madrid in 1993. After training in Criminology, she obtained a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies. Ferrasse works in the world of cybersecurity.

As for her love of reading, she began to cultivate it at the age of thirteen. From that moment on, she began to take in a lot of literature. Among her reference figures are Jane Austen and Federico García Lorca.

In 2023 her first novel, ‘Flores de papel,’ was published.  It tells the story of Lara, a woman who lives in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods on the outskirts of Madrid and combines work, studies and the tasks of caring for Carmen, her grandmother who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
