Beatriz Berrocal

Spanish writer living in León, Beatriz Berrocal (Benavente, Zamora, 1962) combines her literary career with her work as a nurse.

In the literary world, Berrocal is known for both her short stories and her novels, particularly excelling in children's and young adult literature, a field in which she has received numerous awards.

Berrocal's books include Memorias de Tristán Saldaña, Muna, Tengo un Dragón en la tripa, La revolución de las perdices, El refugio de los versos, Goodbye, Adión Noviembre y La danza de los estorninos, for which she won the Hache Prize in 2025.
