Spanish writer and journalist, Nativel Preciado is known for her work in magazines and media outlets such as Tiempo, RTVE, and ABC, among others,
as well as for her narrative work. She has won important awards such as the Primavera Novel Award, the Azorín Award, and was a finalist for the Planeta Award in 1999.
Her work as a journalist spanned more than thirty years for Spain's most important media groups, and her work was recognized in 1986 with the Francisco Cerecedo Prize, awarded by the Association of European Journalists.
Her literary work includes novels such as El egoísta, Camino de Hierro, Bodas de Plata, and Llegó el tiempo de las cerezas.
