Spanish thinker and essayist, José Antonio Marina has specialized throughout his career as a researcher in the study of intelligence and creativity.
He studied Philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid, after which he worked for several years as a school teacher of secondary grades. He is a renowned essayist and has published more than thirty books since 1992, some of which were in collaboration with Santiago Satrústegui and Álvaro Pombo.
Among his works, we must highlight such important titles as Elogio y refutación del ingenio, for which he won the Anagrama and National Essay Awards, La conspiración de las lectoras o Anatomía del miedo.
He is also a regular contributor to media outlets, such as the Crónica supplement of the newspaper El Mundo and El Semanal, in addition to participating in radio and television programs.
