Alberto de la Rocha

Spanish writer, Alberto de la Rocha was born in Madrid in 1979 and lives in Córdoba.

He began to study several university careers in the scientific field but decided to abandon them and focus on writing. In 2004 De la Rocha received a residency grant from the Antonio Gala Foundation for Young Creators.

Throughout his career De la Rocha has published numerous titles, including ‘El cuarto inclinado’ (Felipe Trigo Short Story Prize), ‘Sumidero,’ ‘Los vertebrados’ (Ateneo-Ciudad de Valladolid Novel Prize), ‘Recordaré abril’ (I Certamen Biblioteca Fundación Antonio Gala), ‘Los años radicales’ and ‘Aquellos muchachos.’
