Juan Arnau Durán

Juan Arnau Durán, born in Fraga in 1956, is part of one of the best-known Spanish families in the world of entertainment.

In 1870 José Satorres, his ancestor, opened the Café Josepet in Fraga, breaking centuries of family farming tradition. It would be this first step that would mark a before and after in the history of entertainment in Spain, as the business ended up becoming one of the leading promoters of electronic music in the country. After Satorres came many generations that consolidated their own label, that of the Arnau family.

Arnau Durán belongs to the fifth generation and is considered a pioneer in the world of clubs thanks to the Florida 135 room and the Monegros Festival, an event he inaugurated decades ago in the family estate of Les Peñetes. In 2023 he published the novel ‘Bailar en el desierto’ (Dancing in the desert), where he tells the story of his family.
