A criminologist and crime novelist, Marc Pastor was born in Barcelona on October 12th, 1977.
He works for the Mossos d'Esquadra (Spanish police force), an experience that aids him in his writing.
He is considered one of the great writers of contemporary Catalan fiction, and his literary work has been translated into several languages.
Throughout his career, he has written books such as Montecristo, Bioko, El año de la plaga (which was adapted for film), La mala mujer (Crims de Tinta Crime Novel Award), Farishta o Los angeles me miran, some of which have not yet been translated into Spanish.
