Verónica Andrés Cruz

A Spanish psychologist and writer, Verónica Andrés Cruz (L'Alcora, 1988) has cultivated children's literature in addition to her professional life. She lives in Alcanar, Tarragona.

With a degree in Psychology, she works as an Educational Counselor at a secondary school. This work has led her to life experiences that are both enriching and transformative.

It was her work as a teacher in a Reception Classroom that inspired and motivated her to write her first illustrated children's book, El sombrero de Guillem, featuring a boy and his grandfather. The latter suffers from Guillain-Barré syndrome, as did the author's father.
