José Juan Moreno García, known as José Moreno, is a Spanish philologist and writer born in Cádiz in 1981.
He graduated in Hispanic Philology from the University of Cádiz and entered the literary scene in 2019 with a book of short stories. Later, in 2025, he published another collection of short stories, Gagarin o la triste certeza de viajar solo.
Since he began publishing his texts, Moreno has participated in various anthologies of short stories, including Calle del Aire nº2, in which his short story «La chica del Tesco» was published, or Contra el silencio, once relatos y una sola causa, in which "La culpa" was published. He has also been a winner and finalist in various short stories competitions.
