Máximo Huerta

A Spanish journalist and writer, Máximo Huerta studied Information Sciences at the CEU San Pablo University in Valencia, later completing his training with a master’s degree in graphic design and Illustration awarded by the European Institute of Design.

After beginning his journalism career at local radio stations and newspapers such as Las Provincias, Huerta began working in television at Canal 9 and later moved on to various national media outlets. After his time in investigative journalism, he ended up working on celebrity gossip and tabloid programs. In 2018, he served as Minister of Culture for a week.

Within the literary world, Huerta published his first novel in 2009 and in 2014 won the prestigious Primavera Novel Prize for his work La noche soñada, followed by No me dejes. In 2022, his novel Adiós, pequeño won him the Fernando Lara Prize.
