A writer and screenwriter, Ana B. Nieto, born in Madrid in 1978, studied Audiovisual Communication, although she also studied Art History, Fine Arts, and Advertising,

as well as various courses in Ancient and Church History. She spent a year in Ireland, which she used to learn about the local mythology and to learn some of the ancient and contemporary Irish.

She has worked professionally in the audiovisual and online fields, and in 2013 she debuted as an author. Her first book was La Huella blanca, a historical novel (which she later turned into a trilogy) in which she demonstrated her passion for the period. For her debut novel, she was nominated for the Hislibris Award for Best New Author of 2014.
