Ana Ballabriga

Ana Ballabriga is a Spanish writer born in the small town of Candasnos, Huesca, in 1977.

She studied Psychology in Valencia and there she met fellow writer David Zaplana, with whom she shares her life and work, both audiovisual and literary. In 2006, she founded her own production company with him, Ala Deriva, and they have received several awards for their audiovisual work in short films.

In the literary world, the duo debuted with Tras el sol de Cartagena (After the Sun of Cartagena 2007), a tale of love, adventure, and mystery set in the Murcian city. Since then, they have published other titles such as Morbo gótico, Ningún escocés verdadero, La paradoja del bibliotecario ciego, Soy Rose Black y La profecía del desierto.
