About the Author
Georgina Lázaro León was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Inspired by her own children, she’s written many poems and nursery rhymes, many of which have been made into songs. She is one of the authors of “Historical Figures of the Hispanic World” (Personajes del Mundo Hispánico). Among many awards and honors, she received an honorable mention for the Pura Belpré Award in 2010.
