Synopsis
It's freezing in Fjallbacka in January. A half-naked young woman wanders through the snowy forest and reaches the highway. A car comes out of nowhere and doesn't have time to stop. At the same time, Erica Falck is investigating a family tragedy. A widow is accused and sentenced for killing her husband. Erica visits her numerous times, but cannot figure out what the woman is hiding. This family's dark past projects a very large shadow on the present.
