Synopsis
The University Club is one of the few that focus their history and spirit on one thing: University City. There they have their home, the Olympic Stadium; its quarry, home to many of their great sports and technical personalities, as well as their football and college philosophy. On their part, players like Hugo Sánchez, "Cabinho", Manuel Negrete and "Tuca" Ferretti, among others, have starred in historic moments that ended up etched on the memory of whole generations. El Club Universidad es de los pocos que concentran su historia y su espíritu en un solo lugar: Ciudad Universitaria. Ahí se encuentra su casa, el Estadio Olímpico Universitario; su cantera, cuna de muchas de sus grandes figuras deportivas y técnicas, así como su filosofía futbolística y universitaria. La pasión que infunde el espíritu puma va más allá del deporte que se practique, pues para este aficionado no hay nada como entonar el himno de la Universidad, gritar el ¡Goya! en CU o portar con orgullo la camiseta, dentro y fuera de cualquier estadio. Hay muchas razones para ser auriazul; una de ellas, que los Pumas no han defraudado a sus fanáticos: siete campeonatos de liga y un bicampeonato mantienen al Club Universidad entre los mejores del país.
