On December 31st Inspector Malerba (an only slightly corrupt police officer) is called on to deal with what seems to be a minor family feud in a quiet neighborhood of Mar del Plata. His investigation of that fight leads him to an unsolved murder which had occurred a few months previous. He continues to search for answers even after it becomes clear that people at very high levels of the military government are involved in the crime. As a result the situation becomes very complicated.
