Narrative about the persecution of people and ideas in La Coruña during the Franco era, it recounts the burning of the books of the private library of Casares Quiroga, making reference to the minister, his wife and above all, his daughter, already a celebrated actress with the National Theater of Paris. In my opinion, this is a very good book because it skillfully combines history and fiction, leaving the reader with a bitter taste and a sense of the great injustice of Francoism, against ideas and persons, killing many and persecuting others.
