Press release from the FGEE - More than thirty Spanish publishers expand borders at the fair in Buenos Aires.

Argentina is the second market for the Spanish book in Latin America, only after Mexico. • In 2015, exports reached 5 million copies, with a turnover of 24 million euros. More than 30 Spanish publishers will take part in the 43rd edition of the International Book Fair of Buenos Aires, which opened on April 25 and will keep its doors open until May 14.

The Fair, which is held in the 'La Rural' building, located in the Plaza de Italia, where in an exclusive section for professionals only during the first three days, will house Spanish companies present at the fair. The Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain (FGEE) heads the Spanish delegation and will have a stand in which 21 Spanish publishers will showcase their novelties. Also, other Spanish institutions will have their own spaces within the Fair, including the Xunta de Galicia. In addition, eight Spanish publishers have been invited by the Fair to participate in their professional working days. They will also join the 21 companies that participate in a trade mission for South America and that will take advantage of the celebration of the Fair of Buenos Aires to establish new relations in Argentina. These publishers will hold a professional day entitled "Bibliodiversity in the Independent Spanish Publishers".
