Barcelona’s International Comic Con began on March 30th

March 30th, 2017
“Held at the Fira Barcelona-Montjuïc, it will be spread across a space of approximately 50,000 square meters, much larger than in previous years. With a budget of 782,000 EUR, 10% more than in 2016, the conference will host approximately 200 exhibitors.

[…] About thirty international authors have been invited, a wide gamut representing the present and future of comic art. From the singular talent and technique of Kim Jung Gi to the humor of the North American Liza Donnelly, a cartoonist for The New Yorker. Also in attendance are Dave Gibbons, one of the authors of Watchmen, the Belgian master Hermann, and the British artists Bryan and Mary Talbot. From France, there is Romain Hugault, Europe’s most talented artist at portraying tales of aviation through vignettes, the North American Gina Wynbrandt, and the Argentinian artist Sole Otero.”
