Almuzara, the publishing house of former Secretary Pimentel, celebrates its 20th anniversary and makes the leap to Latin America.

Born in Córdoba, the label is now opening offices in Madrid and Mexico City to consolidate its 14 collections.

Almuzara was inaugurated on April 23, the anniversary of the death of the father of Spanish literature, Manuel de Cervantes.  This year they celebrated their 20th anniversary; toasting from Cordoba, which this publishing house has turned into the Spanish city of books. And it would seem, in view of the results, that these two decades have been successful.

Almuzara is not just a publishing house, it is a publishing group that rubs shoulders with major corporations in Spain and Latin America. Its catalog is made up of more than four thousand titles and last year it closed its income statement with a turnover of more than five million euros. Cordoba, the city where Góngora and the poets of the Grupo Cántico were born, has become too small for the group. Almuzara has opened offices in Madrid and Mexico City, the capital city from where it plans to direct their presence in Latin America.
