Javier Castillo, Eduardo Mendoza, Gabriel García Márquez, Ramon Gener and Eva Baltasar were some of the authors with best-selling fiction books on Sant Jordi's Day, in which the good weather combined with it falling on a working day, have provided successful sales.
According to the trends pointed out by the Book Chamber, in Spanish novels, the best-selling books have been, although not in this order, 'La grieta del silencio' (Suma), by Javier Castillo; 'Un animal salvaje' (Alfaguara), by Joël Dicker; 'Tres enigmas para la Organización' (Seix Barral), by Eduardo Mendoza; 'En agosto nos vemos' (Random House), by Gabriel García Márquez; and 'Blackwater I.
