A selection of children's stories with values that invite us to think, to put ourselves in other people's shoes and generate empathy.

Again and again, we insist that the first and fundamental step to fight against some of the great scourges of humanity is in having an education; in what we have seen since childhood.

Racism, violence, xenophobia, machismo, contempt for the environment... are huge and heavy concepts that can be tackled by fostering empathy through stories.

Estandarte magazine has chosen five unique and attractive stories in which content and illustration capture and invite us to reflect, without falling into superficial moralizing either by placing, for example, a stork as the protagonist of a journey in search of a better nest, using humor to dismantle prejudices or insisting on the absurdity of a label based on repeating the same question again and again knowing that there is no answer.
