The FGEE, with the aim of supporting the internationalization of the Spanish publishing sector, is organizing a direct trade mission to Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Guadalajara ?coinciding with the FIL, from November 24 to December 5, 2024.
This trade mission seeks to promote the Spanish publishing offer and novelties to foreign buyers and press members in three key countries for the export of Spanish books.
The FGEE will lend support with a travel grant of 1,000 Euros for each participant and will assume the costs of hiring meeting rooms for the meetings in Costa Rica and Guatemala (a meeting room will be reserved in the same hotel where the trade mission will be held), airport-hotel-airport transfer, as well as the activities of the agenda by the Economic and Commercial Offices of Costa Rica and Guatemala. In Guadalajara the meetings will be held either in the FGEE stand, by the participating publishers, or in other stands (private or institutional), or in the Business Center.
