Tomorrow, International Children's Book Day, the fourth edition of the Window Dressing Competition PORQUE #YOLEO.
For one more year, and after the good reception of this initiative, the Children and Young Adult Literature Commission of the Madrid Publishers Association (AEM), is once again launching this contest aimed at all bookstores in Madrid, with which we want to celebrate this day and support the essential role of reading for the youngest.
The contest invites all bookstores in the community to dress their windows and interiors from April 2 to the 15, inspired by the manifesto published this year by IBBY, the poem Surca los mares con las alas de tu imaginación (Sail the seas with the wings of your imagination), by Eiko Kadono.
The contest, which will run on social networks from April 2-15 at 1 p.m., has a prize of 1,000 euros for the winning bookstore.
