Yesterday, the Madrid Book Fair held the annual draw from which the available exhibition space is distributed along the Paseo de Fernán Núñez (El Retiro Paseo de Coches).
In what will be its 83rd edition, which will take place from May 31st to June 16th, the Fair will be made up of 358 booths.
Of the total booths, 117, the 32%, will be occupied by bookstores, 59 of which are specialized; and 212 (59%) will be for publishers. A curious fact in a fair organized by the Madrid Bookstore Association. Of course, the Madrid Book Fair reports that there will be many more publishing labels at the Fair, since those that will be represented by bookstores, unions, universities and distributors remain to be added.
