Madrid, 03/05/2024. The CEDRO Board of Directors has awarded the CEDRO 2024 Prize to the writer Gemma Lienas.
With this award, she has recognized her commitment to the defense of intellectual property rights throughout her career and her contribution to promoting a culture that values and respects the activity of authors and publishers.
"At CEDRO we wanted to recognize Gemma Lienas for the work she has always carried out to promote an environment where authors and editors can receive adequate legal and social recognition and fair compensation for our work," highlighted Carme Riera, president of CEDRO.
The CEDRO Award annually recognizes the career of a person or institution that has contributed to the defense of written culture and copyright. «Gemma Lienas unquestionably represents the spirit of this Award and that is why it is fair to award it to her. "She is always willing to lend a hand when it comes to protecting creation and working for the sustainability of written culture," said Riera.
