Marta Robles is a regular at crime novel festivals. She has written several novels of that genre as well as several essays.
The last one, "Lo que la primavera hace con los cerezos," has a lot to do with love and Eros and Thanatos. We spoke with her about the new "Rojo & Negro" festival that will begin on February 13 in the Madrid town of Tres Cantos.
For six days, a handful of writers from the romance and crime genres will meet in Tres Cantos. Something like mixing oil and water. But Marta Robles has achieved what seemed impossible: bringing together authors of both genres to make an unusual and original literary festival. She tells us her little story, for now, in this interview.
