Jesús Hilario Tundidor, one of the main voices in Spanish poetry of the sixties, dies.

The poet, who was awarded the Castilla y León Literature Award and also won the Adonais, has died at the age of 85.

At the start of this month of May, one of the main voices in Spanish poetry of the sixties, Jesús Hilario Tundidor, has bid us goodbye. Born in 1936, in Zamorra, his life was built, as he himself pointed out, through "the triple architecture of the word, the intelligence and the heart."

More than a dozen titles confirm this: from obtaining the Adonais prize in 1963 with 'Junto a mi silencio,' as well as 'Mausoleo,' 'Fue,’ and through such memorable books as 'Tetraedro,’ 'Repaso de un tiempo inmóvil,’ 'Construcción de la rosa,' and 'Las llaves del reino.’ All of them were collected in two volumes by the Calambur Publishing House under the title 'A single day'. To which were added fundamental essays on poetic compositions.
