TodoLiteratura interviews Francisco José Jurado:

With only three published novels, the Cordovan writer Francisco José Jurado has achieved more than remarkable prestige.

Coming from the crime novel, he now publishes in Algaida “Two Worlds at War”, a surprising novel about an unusual event that occurred in the middle of the Battle of the Ebro in the Civil War and where the filmmaker Orson Welles has a lot to do with those events.

If many books have been written about the Civil War, few are as interesting as the one that concerns us today. Francisco José Jurado narrates with a firm hand, and at the rhythm of a crime novel, the events that occurred in the most famous battle of the war. The narrative is also very much like a spy novel and intrigue overflows each of its pages. In the interview, the Cordovan author reveals his motivations for writing the novel and gives us a series of essential keys to enjoy a narrative as fantastic as the one he tells, but all with a certain stamp of reality.
