Elvira Lindo presents: “A corazón abierto” (Open Heart). Presented by: Elena Ramírez and the author

Spanish writer Elvira Lindo presents her most recent novel, “A Corazón abierto,” (Open Heart) in a conversation with her editor, Elena Ramírez.

Open Heart is a novel that travels through Spain throughout a century of great changes and pays tribute to a generation; those who remained in Spain in the immediate postwar period, those who, without complaint or regret, concentrated on surviving.

Starting from an episode that occurred in Madrid in 1939, the narrator of this story tells the passionate and stormy relationship of her parents, and how his excessive personality and her weak heart set the pace of the life of the whole family.

In collaboration with the Spanish Cultural Center in Miami, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and Seix Barral Publishing.
