Each of the 16 chapters that make up the book were distributed among the various members of the History Divulgers association, two of them write a couple of chapters as we will see later.

The idea came from the aforementioned association, chaired by Federico Romero Díaz. In it, he gives us testimony of the work of the association and explains the birth of the book that deals with the history of the Valerios, a family that was at the foundation of Rome and always remained close to power until the fall of the Western Empire, although some members of such a singular family continued in Eastern Rome.
