El Cultural interviews Elvira Lindo

Elvira Lindo: “Literature can not be confronted with fear.” Literary memory, intimate and sentimental from her parents, “A corazón abierto” (With An Open Heart) from Seix Barral Publishers, ...

the last novel of Elvira Lindo, (born in Cádiz, 1962), is one of the great reads during this well-read pandemic season.

EC: Which book are you currently reading?

EL: At night I read from Galdós, “El doctor Centeno y Tormento,” being in his world relaxes me.  And after lunch, I am currently reading a book by a very young author, Ana Flecha, “Dos novelas nordicas” (Two Nordic Novels).  She has a different, quirky style; I am enjoying it.  I dedícate a few hours to reading the news, but I am going to cut back on that because I end up obsessing about the “topic.”
