he current pandemic, and the quarantine implemented in order to protect us all, is a challenge unlike any other seen before in the publishing industry. For this reason, today we want to let you know we believe that:

Books are essential for culture, knowledge and entertainment purposes.  Books offer children and youngsters in quarantine stories and images they can share with their families and peers.
Opening a book is never dangerous.  Reading and telling stories makes us stronger and more resilient.  That has been the case from the beginning of time and will continue to be so as we face this challenge.
 
Encouraging people to read can provide emotional support.
 
Today, as has always been the case, books are windows, bridges, spacecrafts and ships that can take us to faraway destinations.
