Argentine poet and writer Leopoldo Brizuela dies at age 55

The author of ‘Inglaterra. Una fábula’ (England. A Fable) and ‘Una misma noche’ (On the Same Night) dies in Buenos Aires. He was a writer, poet and translator. An avid reader.

A hunter of files and manuscripts of other narrators. A generous promoter of little-known authors, especially female ones. Argentine Leopoldo Brizuela dies this Tuesday at 55 years of age in the Ensenada district of Buenos Aires, after a long illness, report his next of kin. Winner of the Clarín prize in 1999 with ‘England. A Fable’ and the Alfaguara in 2012 with ‘On the Same Night’, Brizuela recreated the Argentinian memory in his own voice.
