Santiago Posteguillo, 2018 Planeta Prize. This Valencian writer wins the prestigious award with his novel Yo, Julia

The Valencian writer is the winner of the 67th Planeta Award and is endowed with 601,000 euros for his historical novel Yo, Julia.

The verdict was revealed at the Palau de Congresos of Catalonia, in Barcelona, ??during the traditional literary dinner that, just as in every other year, brings together the cultural and political elite of the country. The decision was made by the jury, made up of the writers Alberto Blecua, Fernando Delgado, Juan Eslava Galán, Pere Gimferrer, Carmen Posadas, Rosa Regàs, and Belén López, editorial director, who joined this year as secretary of the jury to replace Emili Rosales.
