Random House is entering the TV business

The publisher is already working on movies, with Random House Films, according to dosdoce.com. Now, in a partnership with Fremantle Media, it will be on the small screen.

“Random House is a restless publisher and it is always looking to expand its publishing business,” reads the blog on dosdoce.com, announcing that the publisher will persuade the TV business in a move to expand its editorial business. “The television unit will work closely with publishers and authors to acquire the rights of their works and to bring them to the small screen.
