The National Library of Spain, the Alternatives Foundation and the General Secretariat of Culture, will take place on February 27 and will include the participation of experts who will debate about the present situation and the future perspectives of the world of the book.

The National Library of Spain, the Alternatives Foundation and the Vice-directorate of Books, Reading and Spanish Language Literature at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, are organizing a Conference on the Present and Future of Books and Reading, where literary agents, specialists and professionals from different areas of the book industry, literature and the promotion of reading, will debate and reflect on the present situation and the future perspectives of this cultural field. This conference will be amongst the events created by the 2017-2020 Plan for the Promotion of Reading by the General Secretariat of Culture at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.
