As the president of the Scherzo Foundation he collaborated with 'Triunfo' and "'Cuadernos para el Diálogo", both cultural and political magazines. He was a complete intellectual.

Javier Alfaya was, among other things, an ethical professional. He was born in Bayona (Pontevedra), a  Galician province in August 6th, 1939 and he died in Madrid last Monday, January 29th, 2018. 

He was part of legendary newsrooms such as La calle, Triunfo, Cuadernos del Diálogo, Revista de Occidente. He collaborated with El País, El Mundo, El Independiente and he also wrote for the newspaper Le Monde Diplomatique.
