MIAMI, Jan. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Atresmedia Internacional launches Atrescine, a new HD Spanish language network dedicated to Spanish cinema and aimed to appeal the Hispanic audience. This new addition expands the group's range of international channels, which already includes Antena 3, Atreseries and ¡HOLA! TV.
Atrescine introduces itself to the Hispanic public with the biggest catalog of Spanish movies from every era and genre–over 7,000 titles—thanks to its partnership with Video Mercury Films, the largest distributor of Spanish cinema in the world and owner of more than 70% of all films ever produced in Spain.
The new channel will also have access to Atresmedia Cine titles, which closed out 2017 as a leading movie producer, taking in over 30 million euros from nine feature films and accounting for 31.8% of box office receipts for Spanish movies.
